Hunters and Non-Hunters alike can show their love of the outdoors in our 1st Annual RacksNTusks Photography contest! Our digital photography contest is designed to encourage participation in outdoor activities and bring home the beauty and joy that the outdoors brings.
The top 3 entries in each category shall be awarded and displayed at the Annual RacksNTusks Award Banquet in Feb or Mar 2017. The two available categories are Under-18 and 18 and over. There will be no separation in categories in terms of gender or photo style.
Entries will be accepted until January 31st 2017 and can be submitted at racksntusks.com/photo. This contest is open to amateur photographers. Subjects can include topics such as landscape, action, flora, fauna and south Texas outdoor culture.
– All photographs that you submit must be your own work and you must own the rights to distribute the entry.
– All entries must be digitally created.
– All eligible entries must submit their work via the racksntusks.com website.
– All entrants are limited to three submissions. Entrants are only eligible for one award only. Entrants shall have the highest placing entry counted in the contest and all others shall be dismissed.
– All submissions become property of RacksNTusks and usable by RacksNTusks to forward its mission. RacksNTusks reserves the right to license the work for the interests of RacksNTusks.
– While it is out intent to use images for non-commercial purposes, we reserve the right to license the work for commercial interests.
– Contest director may disqualify work if
o Work appears to be digitally modified
o Photo is taken outside of south Texas
o Photo is of captive or domesticated animals
– RacksNTusks is not responsible for late, misdirected or incomplete entries, or technical or submission errors.
– Photographs will be judged anonymously by an independent panel. Names of contributors will be separated from the images for judging. The contest director will not serve as judge but may make decisions regarding eligibility and participation.
